For the most part, Odium is a very laid back guild. However, there are some behaviours we do not, and will not, condone. Here is a list of our rules.
1. We do not allow drama, and we do this for a very good reason. Drama leads to downfall of guilds and because of this, we have learned to kick drama in the bud. If you're going to start it, you will be receive a strike, regardless of your attributes, how long you've been a member, and what you've done as a member of the guild. Besides, the longer you've been with us, the better you should know. The severity of your actions could lead to more severe punishment.
2. Swearing is alright, provided it makes sense. I swear, like a lot of other people, so I'm not going to be all uptight and tell you that you cannot use profanity. However, if you're just using it to use it, and not using it in the context it belongs in, then it is not alright. We don't want our members trolling our guild chat.
Actually, we'd rather they didn't troll at all, but hey... sometimes people just can't resist...
3. In regards to the guild bank: if you are going to take things from it, please contribute as well. We do not play to feed your every desire. We'll help you out if you help us out. If you don't want to deposit items, just donate some gold here and there. It's not that hard. Abusing the guild bank will result in a demotion to page, where you will no longer have guild bank access. Members are only able to withdraw two items daily from the first tab. Other items in other tabs must be requested. This is to keep the bank from being robbed.
4. Please respect your superiors. That is, don't badmouth the GM, the Co-GMs, or the officers. They can and, if they deem fit, will remove you from the guild. We're not here for you to flame. We're here to keep the guild in check and to offer the playing experience our members desire.
5. Respect your fellow guildies. It is a lack of this that oftentimes leads to dramatic explosions. If you are the sole cause of drama with more than one person, then you will be the only one removed from the guild. If you are going to cause trouble, it will not be tolerated.
By joining Odium, you have agreed to abide by these rules. If you fail to follow them, you are subject to being kicked from the guild. We do what we can to keep from having to remove members, but there's only so much poor behaviour that can be accepted.
Also, you acknowledge the right that I, as guildmaster, have to change these rules at any moment in time. Fortunately, I'll likely make a news post to inform members of any changes.
